Well, most folks are thinking that our Socialist government is going to take away our guns, or at least making next to impossible to get weapons. For those who live in New York, you know what I mean.

Well the coward Obamaites are causing us to think that we are losing our freedom. Well, if we are not careful, we will be.

Did you know that heir Obama has an elite group of military personnel who are trained to deal with those of us who are willing to stand up the the crap government that is in power. Add to it, the dictator has the power to shut down the internet if he so pleases. And for those who think that Bush was bad due to an “illegal war” and the Patriot Act, Obama has done nothing but lie to us all for the past year!

With the backbreaking budget, it is apparent that the Obama Administration does not give a damn about the public. He continues to spend like a drunken fool. If congress passes this piece of crap budget, they should be held accountable as well. Quite frankly the three puppets (Obama, Pelosi and Reid) know that their days are numbered in the government. They are probably ready to pull the rip cord and blame their problems on the previous Administration (in other words, GROW UP).

Anyways, what we need to do – send a letter to your congress puppet and tell them how sick you are of the government.

Go out and buy your fire arm. Watch for sales of ammo at walfart or other places. Better yet, support your local gun dealer. Support freedom and fight for your rights.

p.s. even the Obama Girl is bailing out on Mr. Wonderful as she feels he has not lived up to his promises. He is more of the problem than the rest of the puppets as well!

7. Given the above, Although we are the wealthiest country(though China is a close second), everyone wants us to be at their level and we need to stoop to their level of POVERTY.

8. Tax the rich until they are poor, reset the tax limits, tax the rich………

This is leadign us to the new world order mentioned so eloquently by Gordie Brown – YUK.  What does this mean to us?  We will need to live by international law and not US law, the Constitution will be gutted to get to International Law, and we will be a bunch of underemployed, gunless, hungry masses.  This fool of a President is allowing George Soros to pull the strings of Him, Comrad Pelosi and Gutless Harry (Ried).  This administration is so corrupt, it makes me sick.

Last week I was in a car with two left wing Dems.  One states, I am disappointed in Obama for not keeping his promises.  Which of the many.  Gitmo she responds – and goes on for a 10 minute diatribe.  I reminded her of the lack of transparency, the ongoing bail outs and his problem with finding appointees without tax issues (Who wants to work for a Tax Cheat??)  Then I listen how Bush is a war criminal…

The most interesting comment I heard was this ->  I mentioned that I Obama is our president and when push comes to shove, I will uphold and defend the Constitution and our president, the libs stated that they would not have done the same for Bush.

Then I discuss O’Riely and a few other conservative commentators – Oh, they are a bunch of blow hards…  I asked when was the last time you watched them – Never.  Ever listen to Rush – No Hannity, Levine, Savage?  No.  But the Liberal media is sooooo good.  I submit that the majority of liberals are lemmings, no matter how educated they are.  Cannot bother to read the issues, vote for feeling.  BARF!

Food Storage for your Urban Survival Food Cache this week.  If you have a membership to Costco, Sam’s or a similar warehouse store, do your shopping there as it is the best bulk prices. You can also shop for some bulk items through a natural foods store as well.

What to buy:

get a large chicken bullion – 2 lb ($7.00), a bag of rice (20 pounds) not sure of price and Salt (4- 1 lb containers).  This should put you in the 20 dollar range.  Why the bullion?  It really dresses up plain flavors and lasts a long time.  Yum.

You should already have a couple of big bags of beans – 2-10 pounders.Water – lots o water (I am dumping my drums of water today and refilling. At least the garden will be happy!)

If you do not already have a propane camp stove and a few bottles, you really need to get one.  The bottles filled at a welding store or a Luv’s truck stop should be in the neighborhood of $2.50/gallon (what I saw on the Luvs sing yesterday).  The quick exchange places are pricey and are only good if you need to change your tank out due to corrosion (rust.)

Question for this week:  Do you have  a water treatment system on your house?  Reverse Osmosis or straight filtration?

At the outset, it sounds wonderful:  Control Semi-automatic firearms…  However, this resolution would erode the rights of all gun owners and continue to place all of us at peril in the time of a crisis.  The facts are always the same – let the camel get its nose in the tent and pretty soon, the camel will be all the way in and you are out.

If you are pro-gun rights – you may want to leave.  Truth be told, this kind of registration and what it is aimed at will not do anything to secure our country!  Criminals will continue to obtain firearms illegally.  That leaves those of us with guns to protect our rights – plain and simple.

I can already hear the babbling by the lefties – “Well, Europe doesn’t have an issue with guns….”  Lets get the facts strait.  Those in Europe who use guns in crime are using illegally obtained firearms – there is no way to track them.  Next:  Deaths are lower in Europe from Guns, but if you would open your eyes and take time to investigate fatalities by knifes and similar implements, you would see that it is proportionately higher than here in the US.  So, should Europe ban steak knives?  Should you be a registered knife user?

Also, if you look at the number of people who die in auto accidents/homicides versus gun shootings, there is more sobering evidence of going after the appropriate target (pun intended!)  More people die from automobile related causes than gun causes.  So lets get tougher on cars.  Yup they do have registration requirements.  But if someone steals my truck and runs over little billy, all they can do is trace the vehicle back to me and a theft report (hopefully!)

Friends, we are watching our rights erode in front of our eyes.  Take time are write to your legislator and let them know you will not allow this crap to happen.  Big Government has never been a solution!  We as urban survival folks need to have the tools we need for when all hell breaks loose.  Gun Control is not a solution to anything.

Lets see, Congress has lied to us again (thanks to Pelosi and Reid).  The 700 billion is actually over 800 billion due to pork and the stock market has tanked due to a lack of confidence of the government.  Gosh, I couldn’t agree more.  All of the liars (lets not forget B Frank and C Dodd) who are the Chiefs of Misinformation and political graft are driving the culture to a socialistic state. 

Yup, you watch.  We will lose gun rights (Second Amendment) at the beginning by having to register our firemarms.  Then, our taxes will increase, then companies will pass on the additional costs will be passed on to us….

Then, the new New Deal will be coming into effect.  You heard me!  If we get a new New Deal, our country will spiral downwards and we will be in a depression longer than we need to.  It is well known within the economic community that the New Deal kept us in the depression longer than we needed to be and what pulled us out was World War II  All the while, Europe was able to get out of the depression a lot quicker than we did.

Please do not get me wrong, there were some good things that came out of the New Deal – Social Security,er, what else – you tell me!

Being able to survive is very important and becoming self reliant.  Lets face it, the Government wants to take care of us and our paychecks – just like in the Soviet Union.  Face it, the only ones who made money in the Soviet Union was the folks in the Politburo, KGB, etc.  The rest of the country was repressed.  Do you really believe that excess taxes do the general public well?

An interesting tidbit – conservatives typically donate more money to tithing, charity, etc than liberals who espouse higher taxes.  If you are offended by that – I am just a reporter of the facts.

So, what can we do??

1. Have space – start your little garden with winter crops.  Also have some herbs growing in you kitchen.

2. Become educated in Politics for the next few days – not in the voting booth.   There are a whole lot of fools who are voting because they like the candidate, not on the platform.  I grew up in a Democratic house which was very political – my parents were always assising with campaigns…  The one thing I remember a congressman telling me that you should always vote on the issues regardless of party – that is what makes our country so great.  Sorry Ms. Pelosi and Mr Ried, you are putting Ideals above country.  Guess that is why I am a conservative Independent.

3.  Subscribe to my newsletter!  I will be sending out information on setting up your years storage of food which will not just be rice and beans!  You will have flavoring assistance (spices, herbs…) along with the staples and more.  Protien will be part of your food stores as well.  I am working with a few companies to have affordable 72 hour kits available. Yes, you can put one together yourself as well.

4.  Learn a new skill for yourself!  Why not look into First Aide? Or, Dutch Oven cooking – you never know when burning wood might be our only source of heat thanks to the Mid-easterners.
