Summer is almost over and I have been spending time with the young folks in the house teaching them survival skills in the mountains of Arizona. Then after that, we went to visit the land of fruits and nuts (Southern California) for some sadly needed R&R at the beach. My daughter loved it and I was able to teach the kids how to ocean fish – my son caught a macarel and daughter caught a juvi crab. Using anchovies was fun as they were not used to seeing bait like that.

So, where were we from my last post.

Oh yeah, the idiot in chief, President Ego, mr blame, Obama has yet to take any responsibility for his lack of action for the past 18 months. Working actively to shut down the gulf coast, he has been effective, which highlights his lack of leadership and talking head status. I cannot wait for November to get rid of the puppets running congress. I personnally believe that congress should be of the opposite party of the president as we are first hand witnesses of the stupidity of this administration. Or should I say – INCOMPETENCE! Yeah, you were on scene from the beginning – recovering bodies, not worrying about oil. Could not make a call for over 80 days to BP.

Again Mr. Obama, you need to resign. Biden would be a better leader – at least he takes responsibility for sticking his wingtip into his pie hole! You on the other hand are truly narcissistic. And yes Mr. President, your shit does stink – just like your friggin community organizing background and buddies from Chicago. You took an oath to protect the constitution, yet you are working to dismantle. You and your weakling administration does not have the guts to protect the borders. The libs protecting you keep saying this is a Human Rights Issue – well, if it is, then deal with it in Mexico and Central America. The illegals are draining the system faster than you can spend money on looser green projects (and I have been doing green longer than you have had your fake degree from college.) Liar

If you are are a regular reader, we will be going back to urban survival topics. This administration makes me nauseous and disrespects everything that my family has fought for since the 1700s!

We will be going into making foods like Cheese and other goodies from raw materials so that you can survive the impending implosion due to financial irresponsibility that this admin keeps ramming down our throats.

I have been watching the past 54 days of the oil spill and the response efforts and am concerned for those who are directly impacted by the oil spill in the gulf.

A major question is have is when you will be stepping up and taking leadership?

To this point, you have hemmed and hawed and sat on your ass and done photo ops, yet have not really done much. As an example, you gave a really lame excuse on why you did not call the president of BP. You have spent time pointing fingers at previous administrations and other nonsense while the oil continues to flow.

You sent your PhD/Nobel prize winning advisor down and he did not understand why the oil did not stop with the top hat – why did he not get briefed?

You stated that this is not a college lecture – yet you have treated it as such throughout the whole friggin mess.

You have gone down to the coast and photo-oped the thing to death, you have stated that the government has been “on the spill” since the beginning when in fact it was for a search and rescue mission for the missing workers. You continue to spin like a pinwheel on a windy day. Yet the oil keeps flowing.

Now you erroneously are threatening to sue BP and wag your long index finger at them, creating animosity while the focus should be getting the resources to the gulf. Yet the oil keeps flowing.

Your minions in the media have done a horrible job at covering up your ineptitude while you continue to place the blame on others. Yet when I read the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, command of an oil spill rests squarely upon the shoulders of the President. Yet you failed to act for weeks. And the OIL KEEPS FLOWING!

By the way – the OPA was written by Democrats to hold George HW Bush accountable for oil spills, looks like a little backfire, eh?

Quite frankly Mr. President, you have not shown leadership. All you have shown is an immature person who cannot make a decision. Your decision process is one which requires all the information. Here is a little hint for leadership: if you have 40 to 80% of the info, you have enough to make a decision – and that is what a leader does.

Mr. President, you need to crap or get off the pot. If you cannot get your ass in gear and make some executive decisions and stop hanging your staff out to dry, you should get off the White House pot and go back to Chicago. Yes, resign, quit, leave. You are hurting the country. You and your idiot savant team are driving this great country into the ground. The country where my family fought for the freedoms which you are manipulating. And no, I am not talking about a war, I am talking about multiple wars going back to the colonial era.

My families blood is vested in freedoms we hold dear since the revolutionary war, to the civil war where one of my ancestors was imprisoned in Andersonville, to the World Wars to Vietnam. They gave their all for this country and I will be damed if some fool in the White House is going drive this country into the ground.

So Mr. President. Without a speech writer, without a teleprompter, without your advisors whispering in your ear, what will it be? Will you step up and lead? If not, leave. Go away/. Let that clown Biden run the show. You can continue to sponge off the government with your lifetime pension and book royalties. After all, you never have had a real job or voted without saying present (which is not leadership!)

Well, his impotent matter was the fact that his company wanted me to stop posting disparaging remarks about the Socialist in Chief, Comrade Obama. Well, after discussing this with him and reminding the client who ardently says that first right opinions are critical in the grand US of A, that I should be supportive of the President.

As I gently reminded my client that I (and many of my conservative friends) would march to the gates of hell to protect our great country and all that it stands for, I will not stop my postings, unless they retracted everything they posted/said, etc. about every conservative they have disparaged. Then shit hit the fan.

After listening to a tirade about illegal wars, out of control spending, wire taps, etc., he told me that that would happen as soon as hell froze over. I laughed and told them there is an iPhone app for that and that hell is in Michigan or someplace north like that.

I then reminded the pinhead that Obama is mounting American Troops to squash any militia (being trained in Georgia) and has control over the networks (MSDNC, CNN (Communist news network), etc.) and wants to have complete control over the internet. The dude (Obama) has thin skin and yet has taken any responsibility for his actions for the past year and a half! (Heck, I do wish Clinton was back!)

Moreover, he has hijacked health care over the wishes of the people as we are too stupid (oh mighty thinker Obama). I also told the client that the Obama admin is out to control everything and as a former Democrap from Northern California, that I do understand where the unions and the Axis of evil (Obama, Reid and Pelosi) are taking us. Hell, Obama has thrown all his democratic congress under the bus for health care. Also, they illegally passed a bill which was not available to the public and he is a general liar (not getting Cspan in for the negotiations.)

My last words to this former client was that they have the right to dismiss me under contractual terms of not performing. Never the less, I would expect full payment of the contract immediately should they dismiss me, otherwise I would take this to court.

Needless to say, I do not have the friggin idiots as clients any more. So to my Bay Area client – I wish you luck and good riddance. You were a bunch of whiny, arrogant idiots.

Apparently some scum bags are using my blog to power their little money making empire without any notice to me or the other folks which they are scamming for their weak ass marketing campaigns. You see, some of the manufacturers are taking military brass, reloading it and selling it to the police and us. With this happening, we are going to see a price surge on the ammo we buy.

I came across this while looking for a gun for my boys. I was looking at a .22-250 and realized that most of the less expensive ammo was getting pretty pricey. Heck, I remember when a box of 20 was around $7 for my 308 and smaller calibers less. Now, cheap ammo is $20 a box.

So with that in mind, I am wondering who in the Obama Admin is behind this? Is this yet another example of the scummy dems trying to slowly take away our Second Amendment rights? More to come

We are using a modified Square foot gardening method. You see, the soil here in AZ has a bunch of clay. When mixed right with manure, compost and peet, we have a pretty sweet mix. It also has a tendency to neutralize the acids in the manure quickly. Another thing is that our compost took a while to get to compost quality as I left it for my middle son to manage. Come to find out, if I was not standing over him, the pile did not get turned, so we just had a bunch of lawn clippings sitting in a pile. Argh!

As mentioned, we made a composter out of a drum, 2×4′s and casters. We learned a few valuable lessons, which will only be shared with the SUBSCRIBERS of USS in an upcoming issue. We will also discuss planting and harvesting, along with a few other goodies to make sure that survival planning is a year round event that is really easy on you.

A funny thing while at Home Depot today. Looks like everyone is getting in on the Square Foot Gardening. HD even had the SFG bagged dirt mix for $12.95! About 3 x more expensive than what it costs me to make. Anyhow, when looking at the planter they built, it was well constructed. At first, I noticed the color of the wood and did a double take. One of the vendors in the gardening section said that they Homer who built it used pressure treated lumber! PT lumber is a no-no as it will kill the vegetation and will poison the harvest! The vendor also mentioned that they have had some problems with plant survival. I will be back next week to get a good laugh.

If you are wondering what to plant for your garden, get a hold of your local land grant university and ask them for a planting guide. Here in AZ. the University of Arizona (my school) publishes for each county and region. It is a nice guide which tells you when to plant and whether you should be planting transplants, seeds or cuttings. NICE!

Starting with Dirt

Today and my 13 year old son made our own composter out of a drum and a few other materials (scrap lumber, hardware, etc.) I figure we got it done for about $30. After looking at a compostumbler and the piece of junk that is being offered at the big box store, I knew we could do better. So off to the races we went. I was a great day in Arizona to do a project with my kid, who is suffering from ragin hormones and a growth spurt which has him growing 8 inches in the last 6 months.

Why we built the composter was simple, he does not like to turn his compost pile (that has been left to me for the past year.) Since the garden is his, we needed a solution. After a few hours of discussion, we had a design. With a compound miter saw (not required) a jig saw and a drill, we completed the whole thing in a matter of a few hours. Yes, I could have completed this quicker myself, but the time with my boy was priceless.

Now for the Health Care Debacle

Did you hear, Socialists have taken over Washington DC! You see when the will of the government is greater than the will of the People, as outlined in our Constitution, we have a problem. Even Thomas Jefferson, the founding father who was the precursor of the Democratic party was concerned about having a central govenrment which was too strong. With the takeover of private industry, the Dictator Obama has screwed 70% of the population in order to make sure that less than 10% of the population is covered.

Please do not think that i am heartless. I do think there are a lot of problems with the system, not to mention the evils of the trial lawyers (ambulance chasers). However to knowingly pass a bill as flawed as this one is, is downright immoral! How stupid does the Government think we are?

What can we do?

1 Support your local congressman/woman/senator who did not support this piece of crap. Send them $10 or $20.
2. Donate to the American Center for Law and Justice (www.ACLJ.org) The conservative opposition to the socialistic ACLU pukes.
3. Sign the petition at the ACLJ! Only takes 30 seconds and be sure to send out invites to 5 of your friends – don’t be afraid of the big, bad Obama – he is only full of hot air!

Friends, It is time we take back America. It is time we right the ship and bail out the sewage which is in the boat. We need to be sure to tell each of the Dems that voted for this Frankenbill that their services in Washington DC are no longer needed. Further, since they could not listen to the American Majority, they do not deserve to hold any public office (not dog catcher, sanitarian, or janitor in a government building.) What they have done is a travesty to the American Constitution and what our Republic stands for. The Declaration states “We the People…” not ” We the three Stooges…”

I personnally hope that the LDS church excommunicates Reid and the Catholic Church does the same to Pelosi! Obama, he is just a Christian Poseur!

I still believe that you should invest in SILVER not gold. Lets face facts, silver is under-traded. Also, we use more silver that gold in many processes. Also, the silver in storage is less than gold. If any of the Gold Whores tells you that you need to purchase paper, tell them to take a flying leap, as they could give a crap about you and your finances.

The jackasses pushing paper are leveraging your money and if a run on the paper was to occur, you would be screwed.
